The terms, written to be read.

1 · Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Finderwave, operated by AXL Online Solutions SRL ("Finderwave", "we"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you're using Finderwave for an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept on its behalf.

2 · The service

Finderwave is an authentication and access layer for self-hosted Jellyfin. It manages logins, device linking, and invitations, and — on paid tiers — provides a managed relay for remote access. Finderwave does not host your media; your Jellyfin server does.

3 · Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• You must provide a valid email and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.
• Enabling MFA is strongly recommended and available on every tier.

4 · Acceptable use

You agree not to use Finderwave to distribute illegal content, infringe others' rights, attack or overload the service, resell relay capacity, or circumvent plan limits. Relay use is additionally governed by our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5 · Plans, billing & renewals

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, at the price shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Prices are in euros and may include VAT depending on your location.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes never affect a period you've already paid for.

6 · Refunds & trials

Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and are not pro-rata refunded for the current month. Annual and lifetime purchases carry a 14-day refund window from purchase. Free trials, where offered, convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends.

7 · Lifetime & Founder's Pass

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Finderwave service, not a perpetual guarantee independent of the company. The Lifetime plan (limited to 200 purchasers) includes Pro-level relay subject to Fair Use. The Founder's Pass is a launch offer until 15 August 2026, is non-transferable, and includes Pro Unlimited relay subject to Fair Use. We honour lifetime plans in good faith for as long as we operate the service.

8 · Open-source components

The Finderwave Jellyfin plugin and relay binary are licensed under AGPL-3.0 and governed by that license, not these Terms. Nothing here restricts your rights under AGPL-3.0. The hosted control plane and managed relay network are our proprietary services, covered by these Terms.

9 · Availability

We work to keep Finderwave reliable but, except where a Business contract states otherwise, the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime SLA. On direct-access tiers, your authentication is designed to keep working even during a Finderwave outage.

10 · Disclaimers & liability

Finderwave is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for your media, your server's configuration, or losses arising from your own networking choices. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11 · Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the Fair Use Policy, or where required by law — with notice where reasonably possible. On termination, your right to use the hosted service ends; the open-source components remain yours under AGPL-3.0.

12 · Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and the European Union. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Romania, unless local law grants you a different forum.

13 · Changes & contact

We may update these Terms; for material changes we'll notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the update. Questions go to [email protected].
